I often find landscape photography to be the most challenging. It can be subtly difficult to successfully integrate foreground and background elements into a single composition with both impact and beauty. Additionally, landscape exposures are often complex as lighting can vary drastically across the many elements that appear in the frame. Many of these images were captured after months of planning (and hoping) for that perfect fusion of lighting, composition, weather, and seasonal factors such catching the wildflowers at the peak of bloom. Others were just pure luck, being in the right place at the right time. Either way, I hope you love these images as much I enjoyed venturing to these beautiful places.
